It is my pleasure to provide an
Educationally Developed Program for the most important members of your
family. All children have a right to safe, healthful, loving care and to
opportunities for developmental activities according to their ages,
special needs, talents, and interests. I believe children thrive in a fun,
sharing, working together environment and learn when they are having fun.
I conduct
a program based on modern educational techniques that are considered to be
appropriate for young children. I will help all children with pre-reading
and writing skills. They will learn these skills through their play, art,
music and language. I like to offer the children a lot of freedom to
experience the activities that are offered each month. This helps them
develop at their own pace and encourages learning. We have a lot of fun
making a great mess and then cleaning it up!
Preschool
Program -
Preschoolers love to learn. I develop and publish my own preschool
program through Reach for the Stars. Family child care homes and centers
all over the world have purchased both our Toddler Curriculum and
Preschool Programs and have implemented them into their quality
programs. My preschool program is designed to encourage children’s love
of learning while preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. My
preschool program features theme-based learning in age-appropriate
discovery area environments. Hands-on sensory experiences help children
understand concepts as we emphasize pre-reading, basic math concepts,
and science inquiry. A small-group instruction style is provided and
gives each child the opportunity to develop positive self-esteem, as
well as important social skills like cooperation, problem solving,
following directions and respect for others.
